With this change, we welcome in a new era in health care focused on building healthier communities by connecting patients to the best care available anywhere.
We remain a part of Catholic Health Initiatives, one of the largest not-for-profit health systems in the country. In this role, CHI Health oversees 15 hospitals in Nebraska and southwest Iowa.
This unified name reflects the spirit of cooperation and collaboration that exists among our hospitals. By working together, we bring the resources of a national organization and a statewide system right to our hometowns—providing you with access to a larger network of specialists and advanced clinical trials as well as coordinated care across the state and system.
This integrated approach is backed by local expertise as each hospital is led by its own president and board of directors. These individuals are committed to achieving superior outcomes for patients and remaining strong, active partners in the communities they serve.
In addition to a new name, we are proud to introduce our new symbol—four shapes that come together to create the image of a bright guiding star or cross. Our new mark and names symbolizes the seamless integration of each ministry with Catholic Health Initiatives and all of our partner organizations across the country. The dynamic transition from one shape to the next speaks to our continuous transformation and commitment to improve health. The different colors and unique shapes illustrate the diversity of both the communities we serve and of Catholic Health Initiatives.
